June 18, 2010 the Official Journal of the European Union published the New Directive adopted by the European Parliament.
Recall that the EU has pledged to reduce by 2020 the emissions of greenhouse gas emissions by at least 20% compared to 1990 levels.
The Directive requires each member state to comply with the requirements below:
. Minimum requirement in the new building or renovated
. Obligation to make plans like FRANCE has done in the framework of the Grenelle Act.
. Obligation to issue certificates of energy performance
. Obligation to regularly inspect the heating and cooling in buildings
. Generalization of zero energy buildings by 2020 with this obligation for public buildings before 2018: FRANCE the already stated in his Law Grenelle.
